Meep help needed newbie

ok guys im freaking out a bit because i love them so much. ive just got my first snakes children's pythons last week today is feeding day so Dahlia coiled around her pinky super fast and smashed it but Aztec has no interest in it what so ever. i was just wondering how long i should leave it in there without having to worry about bacteria and such any advice would be great thanks

Cover him up a few hours and come see if he's taken the pinkie. He might just be having a bit more trouble settling in or might be a problem feeder. Don't worry. Even a small hatchling can go several weeks/months without food and have no harm done to their health. Just give him another week or two to settle (no handling) and try again. If he doesn't take it there's many techniques that get it feeding on many different threads.
