Melamine Enclosures & Heat Mats

Ok guys ive got a question im on the look out for a new enclosure but i want to know if any body uses a heat mat with there melamine enclsoure, is it possible, would i have to put down some tiles and then have the heat mat under them?

Yes you can do the tile option. Heat mat on the outside of the melamine would not work

Yea i figured.... but where would the wire run through would i have to drill a hole?
