I just broke my lucky streak. I had picked the winner of the cup every year since makybe diva won her second one in 2004. I had my money on kelinni. :cry: all well couldn't last forever I suppose. 8 years is pretty good.

l used to work with bookies doing "timeform" and one or several points to remember about the Melb. Cup, its a 2 mile handicap, there are 4 significant races of this type each year in Oz. so no real form there, also now you have horses from around the world, now thats hard form to draw a line through, 24 horses so 24 jockies 25% (6) will get stage-fright and kill any chance the horse might of had on the biggest stage of their career, next "the handicapper" if he gets it right and this gentleman is "highly" experienced he would like a 24 way photo finish to even the horses out .....now l love racing but thats what you have to pick through with "the cup".......good luck next time solar 17 (baden)
