Missed out on a bargain

just found a HUGE snake enclosure timber style with a 7 ft pyhton on gumtree for $200! but it sold within 3 hrs of being listed :x i couldnt believe how cheap it was....ah well there will b more.

That would be annoying, just got a nice Bredli pair for really cheap, they are only 18 months but hey they are stunning Classics.
He had 20 people interested apparently.

Greatly accepted by some but imo immoral and I would hate to see a snake that I had made a deal on snatched away by someone out bidding me after the deal had been struck.

Had a couple of people of asian background offer 25% more on a car once to try to convince the seller to gazump me and sell to them. It was a lot more than $20 they offered!

They (the asian buyers) did not see it as immoral.....apparently in the culture where they came from it was an everyday way of life. I was glad the seller stuck by our agreement and did the right thing, but it shows that in a multicultural society such as ours, what we consider to be immoral can be very different depending on the cultural background of the buyer/seller.

i barter lol however i draw the line at snatching someone elses bargain lol whilst i was totally bummed about missing out today at the exact same time someone else would have been fully pumped and excited i wouldnt want to ruin that feeling 4 someone.
