Is it okay to mist a click clack? is it necessary? or do you just mist proper enclosures? coz i see my snake is going into shed just wanted to help her out. suggestions? =)
its a spotted. =)If you have a nice sized bowl of water in the click clack, you shouldn't need to mist. What sort of snake is it?
coz last time she shedded it didnt really go in one piece. she shed everything but i had to assist by putting her in a container with warm water. she didnt shed by herself so i thought misting the click clack would help it along. =)What makes you think she needs help?
oh alright! yeah will do. ill clean out her click clack right now =)rather than that dunk her into water for a couple of mins a day till she sheds, has the same effect without the risk of RI/scale rot etc,...
or mist the container and replace it with dry stuff after an hour or so,...a damp container can cause all sorts of problems,...
yeah i did that. i have a spare water bowl its a small one so i just put that over the heated part of the click clack. and have a bigger water bowl on the cold side for her to dunk herself in.the other way is when you see shes going to shed, place the water bowl over the heatmat it works the same as moving it under the lamps in an enclosure. Move it back when shes shed.
yeah i cleaned it out straight away after i read all these posts =). thanks heapsdon't mist the click clack.
I did and gave my snake scale rot.
Put in a bigger water bowl or move the water bowl closer to a heat source.
