i just found mites in my diamonds water how wood she have got them nothing has changed in the tank same old stuff and she hasnt been out of the tank in a while, but i change her water reguarly and there only just appeared she is always hiding very rarely see her could that be anything to do with the mites or she just a shy snake

how old is she? it's possible that she had them when you got her or you could have transfered mites by handling other pythons, or even by going to a pet shop that sell reptiles, it's not hard to do :(
get some TOD and follow the instructions carefully

Could be harmless wood mites living in our cage furniture that have gone for a drink and died... Examine the snake to be sure she hasn't got mites

she about a year or so old i had her for a while now and never noice them i did look at her and i cant see any and i have shown a few people and they cant c them either but i changed the water and there r more in there i live in nsw no reptiles sold in pet shops or been around any 1 with reptiles
