Another martyr
Watch the paybacks in France now
Possibly - but properly not. Gaddafi was not an Islamist, just a very brutal dictator. While there are undoubtedly agents throughout Europe, their paychecks are no longer forthcoming and they are more likely to go to ground.
Interestingly we are seeing a few new things out of this - pro-western Islamists and a new template for toppling unwanted regimes.
Properly won't take long before thing turn back to custard

Dont know much about him though 42 years Is a long time for a dictator to rule I doubt that many will mourn him

in thre seventies, at least, he would host large and small conferences of all types of people, each lasting 1 week and at the evening dinners, when he might also be there, always outside, sometimes right on thr beach,, there was no security. you could walk right past him, eg you wanted to go to the kitchen to see how the cooks did the spicing,,,,,,and also there was no security on top of the surrounding walls , during those functions...evening entertainment, after dinner might consist of the Arab poet, who makes -up clever rhymes

As much as I hate Ghaddafi, this intervention will do nothing but harm to Libya. It is ludicrous how most european countries were eagerly befriending him so they could reduce illegal immigration and buy oil, only to then start bombing the country as soon as the people got sick of him. 'Asking' for help from NATO and the US was never a great idea. No one does anything for free.

so which dictator is next ? dear leader kim jong il ?

The biggest problem in Libya will be how long it lasts as a democracy
Its a perfect breeding ground for extremists now

so which dictator is next ? dear leader kim jong il ?

No chance of USA or Europe getting involved there regardless of what he does

They have no oil

A lot of people are pretty naive when it comes to things like dictatorships versus democratic etc what make any of us believe that we are any less brainwashed than other countries are to think that the way we do things is perfect. Democracy does not work for some countries I'm not saying that he didn't deserve to die, he was a monster, what I am saying is that what works for one country does not necessarily work for another. We are different people with different needs and wants and vastly different beliefs and populations.

note how the dictator " Tito" held all those Slavic countries to-gether for such a long time.............the minute he was gone ..........total bloodshed.

Watch the civil war take place while the yanks take contol of the oil and sell it to us for a maximum price to help there economy that they stuffed up in the first place. Democracy or hypocracy?
Same crap different smell.

Jeez mate, from a dead dictator to us paying more for petrol, long bow?
