Hi we have a Murray river short neck turtle who has outgrown his tank so we want to make him an outdoor pond. What would be the minimum size for this? Can it be in full shade? Thanks

The absolute minimum size would be 2m long by 1.6m wide by 1m deep. No it absolutely cannot be in the full shade, it's imperative that the pond receives the morning and afternoon sun and is shaded from the intense midday sun.
