hey guys my jungle python within the last two weeks everytime i go and look at her she is always under thenewspaper lying upside down in the cold section of her enclosure i was wondering if that was ok ive had her for 3 months and she has never done dat before i was thinkin she was looking for a new hide but she doesnt need to heaps of places for her to hide and atleast i thought it would be in the warm section aswell and whenever i touch her she is real cold and even a bit dissorientaded as she always nearly falls onto the floor when im holding her but i have a very warm hot spot in the tank about 38degrees and the cold end is about 28 and she always at the 28 side soo i do not no what is wrong any suggestions???

It's way to hot mate. know it down to 32 hot end and cool end as low as possible. She's trying to cool down.

Woah, sorry, I miss read that. I have no idea why she is still cold then.. But Im sure someone else would. Id say head to the vets, possible RI maybe.. Those temps are usually too high, but your situation is very od..

38 degrees is way too hot in my opinion and thats why hes at the "cold" end.. reduced the hot end to 30-32 in the day and at night take the temp down a couple of degrees.

I was thinking the same thing..

She is very much alive I just had her out. I reduced the temp for tonight, but will take her to the vet tomorrow if there is no change. She has no visable signs of a RI though..

glad to hear its still ok.. as already said reduce the day temps (and check them using a thermometer) and also reduce the night temps down a little from the day temps. make sure he has some fresh clean water too (at the cold end)

how old is this jungle?

She could be on her back because she too cold to be able to move real fast, to right herself. But for her cool end to be 28c I can't understand why she'd get that cold. Just a thought, though. I've gone out to see my diamonds in the mornings after cold nights, and twice now I've panicked to see a dead one - no not dead, but feel icy cold and are very slow. I've turned them over and popped them in the sun and they warm up in no time, and off they go up into their branches.
