Hey guys, thought I'd share some pictures of my Blueys.
I keep my big girl in a 4ft viv and my baby in a small tank, haven't measured it but it's perfect for him so far. I feed them high quality wet dog food, no grains. I avoid preservatives, artificial colours and all that nasty stuff. They also get two finely chopped veggies mixed in with their dog food. I rotate the veg each week to something different. I occasionally feed fruit, mince, boiled organs and scrambled eggs, just for variety. I take them outside everyday, unless it's too cold. I keep them on sugarcane mulch, any opinions on that? It has a sweet odor which wouldn't be so good for them, I think, but I air it out 2-3 days before use. I think it's good, and they both seem very happy to burrow underneath it!
Here's my girl. Her name is Sprout!
And here's my baby boy, Newton.
And a size comparison too!
I love keeping these guys. Can't wait to get my first snake! It's definitely gunna be a Murry Darling Python, they're stunners.
I also have a rescue cattle dog & a cockatiel!
