So i was feeding my green tree frogs n one of them snapped up the cricket so hard part of the water moss (fake plastic insect saver stuff) pulled off with the bug .. at first he tried to spit it out but then must have thought it was just easier to swallow it!

Will he be Ok ? it was quite a big bit and yes i am removing plant as soon as all the bugs are eaten .. dont want them escaping ...

im guessing there is not much i can do other than cross my fingers?? do i take him to a vet?? if so what will they do?? :(

silly boy .. if he was that hungry he could have just asked for more food!

In most cases of animal's eating Plastic they die of starvation.. so if his appetite seems to disappear or a sudden loss of weight in the next few days i would be taking him to the vet But if you have the money and time Take it to the vet... Better to be safe than sorry.... Just make sure you Check its Fecal matter for the Plastic.. with any luck it will just pass Thru its system.... Hope this helped :)

At the vet i would imagine they would just take an Xray....
