Hello all,
I have a breeding pair of golden tail gecko's that are behaving like they need marriage counseling! They are continuously fighting over food, favorite sticks to sit on, patches of sand... you name it and they will want to tear each other apart over it. Is this normal behavior for gecko's just coming out of winter and into breeding season? Perhaps bitting is their kinky way of saying lets do it... iduno!? If someone could let me know if this is normal or if I need to separate them - it would be much appreciated.

I'd personally just say he wants to mate when ever they come across each other and she doesn't want him at all.

Hmm, not so good for the whole breeding thing then hey. It wouldn't be such a problem except that she is a about a quarter times bigger than he is and as such is getting absolutely dominated.
