You Victorians are so luck. Our NPWS wont let us keep anything like that. Alby, what are you doing this afternoon?

man i am so jelous right now, did you get that from pails? i ws looking at them yesterday. i wish nsw npws would let us get them and maby even wallabies, all we can get on a marsupials liscence is hopping mice, and it costs $60 for two yrs just for the liscence, if we were alloud to own them i would get my liscence in a heart beat and get one. that would make and awsome pet. i would love to see some more pics. do they eat nectar?

I had a wallaroo when I was at school but it kept jumping the fence so in the end I gave to Symbio Animal Park at Helensburgh. But that was 1983 (before most of you were born)

what do we have to do to get npws to add more animals to the liscence?

sorry to bring politics into this forum but a change of Government is the only thing that will change NSW licensing laws. And judging by what happened in Pittwwater yesterday that ain't gunna happen in my lifetime.

Just when I was starting to think you were a decent sort of chap, Pete. Wouldn't have picked you for a nasty right-wing conservative Liberal! I, too, would like a beautiful little fur-baby like moclobe's but must we really sacrifice ALL our freedoms just to get fluffy critters. Oops, sorry, forgot you were in the army. Howard loves a soldier!

I knew you were joking follwoing previous mentions of "Hippys". And I will be calling in 10 minutes!!

Yeah. Those damn hippies! If we want to wear deoderant and concrete the world, we should be allowed to!

Oh kewl.... I never knew you could get those on a license in Victoria or anywhere for that....... What marsupials if any are allowed on a Qld license....?? Anyone know????

Jason, No I got her from a private breeder and yes they are nector and fruit eaters.

Judy, This is the first time that I have kept them. When I got my female I was expecting and adult. However after laying eyes on her and having my first cuddle I was not disappointed getting a baby. She will go outside into the aviary, with the male, when she gets a bigger.

None

You're in Junee Craig (know any Dobson's - I'm related) so you can't buy these remember  But otherwise, it would add variety at $1,250 per six pack. maybe all the GTP's would flourish with native food.

i am pretty sure i saw one of these guys a couple weeks ago. small fuzzy critter seemed to land on the big euk out front, climb up it then i saw this thing glide off. i presumed it was a sugar glider.

how large is the aviary? what did the breeder say you would need to feed him?

Andrew
