Nice. Have you noticed that if you turn the picture upside down it kind of looks like a cartoon/stylised rbb head?
It's going to look awesome when it's finished though, I remember you posting the pic you wanted it designed after.

Looking at complete aesthetics you'd do better to extend the body out to an entire rbb wrapped around your arm to the shoulder. Coming out of the skin would look neat but personally I'd find the composition to be slightly awkward, unless you gored it up to the point where you could see the impression of the snake a fair way up your arm, or at least to the elbow.
Tricky, because the belly's facing out at the end there and naturally (I know, naturally a snake wouldn't be bursting out of someone's skin but bear with me...), you'd only really have a view of the back coming out in that direction with a hint of belly.
This is just me though, the ink's on you and it entirely depends on how you like it, no one else. I still think it's done beautifully. It's a shame you won't consider a sleeve though; that would make a beautiful start

Looks good I got my snake part of a 3 quarter sleeve. It depends how you are going to merge it coming out of your skin. Im saving up for a new tatt now, a sugar skull of kim k

well you just never now a sleeve is a option but this tatt needs some green added i reckon maybe even water somewhere
