hey all i am new on this so forgive me if my threads arent traditional as per say. my issue is that i have a +- 9 month old female albino burmese python who recently had mites but fortunately i was able to rid her and ger surroundings of it, but recentlyb ifound her to be very lathagic and slow if i might add, shes been rufusing to eat for a while now and ive found her to have somewhat fine cuts on her body. can anyone please advise what might be wrong and what i cant do to solve this.

much appreciated

get a vet to go out to your house if you can't get your snake to the vet.

hey ive thought about a vet unfortunately there are no vets or really anyone truely experienced in my area thats why i thought id seek advice first before i make a very long trip

i checked that but no there isnt anything shes been perfectly fine in there before its only recently that this has come up and ive also had her in a new container of sorts recently to test that and theres literally nothing in there. one more thing if i may ive heard that if you can see your snakes body dialating when it breathes that isnt a good sign. how true is this

Maybe if you posted pics of the snake in question and its enclosure you will get a better response as it is hard to diagnose the problem from your post.

hey guys thnx for tryna help but ive found a vet and he said that the mites have left but the lft a parasite on her so ive got stuff to sort her out tyhanx

hey shes doing quite alright, it turns out that is was tiny bits if substrate that were stuck under her scales giving her thouse imperfections and causing her discomfort and her not eating doesnt seem to be a problem for now because she seemed to be gaining energy and well she hasnt lost any weight so shes cool thanx for the concern

Glad she is a bit better for you, would love to see some pics, I love Burmese Pythons :)
Keep us updated on her progress, especially when she feeds :)
