Need help in Nowra please

If there is someone in Nowra who can handle snakes I woul really appreciate a huge favour.

Here is the problem, there are mites (not reptile ones) from crickets that we had to feed a spider and they are all through the snakes enclosure, problem is I am in Sydney during the week and my wife is panicing about the snake, other problem is she is not called snappy for no reason.

She is an atherton jungle and she is usually pretty good once out of the enclosure but my wife wants to wash her as she can see mites all over her but I don't want her getting turned into a collander in the process.

If anyone could please help my wife I would greatly appreciate it and would cover the cost of your petrol etc.

How about your wife go to the pet shop, buy some Top of Descent. Get her to remove the water bowl from the snakes cage, leave the snake in there and spray the cage with the snake in there. DO NOT SPRAY THE ANIMAL....comes out like a fog.Also remove all crickets/woodies from the room as it kills any bugs. That way your wife will not have to touch the snake.

Thanks for your reply, I will get her to buy that tomorrow, she has braved it and got her out. Fingers crossed she doesn't get mauled.

If there are any other animals in cages as well, remove any food or water bowls.It will settle on the water and food and it is not to be ingested. Also do not spray TOD near frogs either.
