how does one get a picture onto your signature below? eg herptraders book advert....

I haven't done it, but I'm guessing you would put the link between
tags.

:p

Hix

Yep, just get the url for the pic, and put it inbetween the
tags as hix said.

This is what I was advised to do.

"Lol !
open any forum page, right at the top click "profile"
At the top of that page you will see "update postnuke profile" box
right click your image, then click "properties"
highlight the line that starts with http://
hold ctrl button and hit your "c" key
now go back to the post nuke box
type in ""
then while holding "ctrl" button, hit your "v" key
then "http://" line will appear
then type in "
scroll to the bottom of the page and hit "submit"

If you need to shring the image first

right click the image, click "edit" in the menu
this opens paint
click "image" then under the menu "stretch/skew"
this opens a box that allows you to alter size by %
when done click "save as" jpeg
then use as above!

Cheers

Hope it helps

You can put this code if you want the image to link to another site.

<a href='[LINK]'><img src='[IMAGE URL]'></a>

Simply replace the text [LINK] with the URL you want it to go to when clicked and replace [IMAGE URL] with the URL of the image to display.

All URL's must begin with http:// or they will be interpreted as a relative link to this site. Then just put it in your signature like you would any other text.

Cheers.

Ok, post the URL to the image you want to be displayed, if you want that image to link to another website when it is clicked paste the URL to that website as well, I will then send you the code you need to put into your signature to have it display.

Cheers.
