Hi guys,

we have a 2 year old murry darling and just noticed today markings under her mouth, possible a scratch from something in her enclosure? its redish in color and only in a small patch,

we also found a small bump in her scales about half way down, again not all sure about what it is or what could cause it, any insite would be greatly appreciated :)

apologies for the poor picture quality.

Chris.

Hard to see in the pics. Is there anything sharp in the enclosure that could scratch her? I would check her for mites, make sure the enclosure is at a good temp (to speed up her metabalism/healing), humidity is ok (not too dry) and just keep a careful eye on her.
Good luck

have a look on here for threads on scale rot...ot google it and see if that what the problem might be

Make sure it's enclosure is kept sterile and dry (what's the humidity like?)..

Other than that, get it to the vet for a diagnosis and possibly antibiotics.
