its not a husky its a malamute, and we already have a rotty. if i were a little closer to vic i may have taken up the offer of the male husky though....

I used to own a Malamute in QLD.
Weighed in at 57 kilos, and it was fit.

paws on my shoulder it stood almost eye level with me and i'm 5' 11"

I appreciate these dogs very much, it brings back memories as a teenager living next door to people who would race their 12 or so, in the winter in Manitoba, Canada. We always enjoyed being with them during practice... and it was always quite something at feeding time too. :wink:

i couldnt keep him on the property, he could clear every fence in the yard... all full size fences.

guy from Rockhampton bought him for his bitch to play with.

Her name is Shyanne, I just got her today, she was given to me by someone who just didn't have enough room for her, she also can clear just about any fence put in front of her, but so can my great dane x pointer, so I'm used to that .
I am planning to build a wheeled 'sled' for her to pull out of old bicycle wheels and such, should be fun.

the husky Jimmy was referring to ws none other than my bootiful boys Rambo, who has Aust. Champions in his bloodlines as well
hehe, hes my speshail lil guy and i wuv him so much
hes only around 9 mo atm though hes a great dog and would be an excellent stud...i should know, seen as my lil girl pomeranian, yes a lil pommie, just recently came into heat :shock: ...the two of them were literally inseparable :lol:

Such GORGEOUS dogs!! We had full intentions of getting either Mals or Huskies, but the Husky Club of Vic talked us out of it by insisting how hard they are to train and how you can never have tyhye off leash blah blah. We have since found this to be crap. But either way, we still love our Border Collie and Golder Retreiver
