New lens

Got a "New" lens with macro function for the right price. This is an unprocessed crop of Nancy, not in macro mode, he was in his after feed mode and getting too close isn't a good idea.

aaahhh that is what I would really like one day is a camera with some good lens (lenses??)...to get those great close up shots! Good on ya!

THe history of the "new" lens is interesting. When I went up to NT a few months ago I stopped to photo a bull camel ( he didn't like me there but I still got within three meters of him ). Anyhow when I was getting back into the car I noticed the lens on the side of the road. Its a genuine Nikkor (Nikon) lens and had both dust caps on and a UV filter. I didn't look at it properly until last night when I checked it out and did some practise shots. Of course once the camera is out, I have to take at least one snake photo.
The lens is worth about a grand 8)

Fuscus, So did you miss off the story, the bit about how you took the 'lense' to the nearest police station, and handed it in, a month later the police contacted you and said that the owner hasn't claimed , so you can now have it, and they sent it to you?????????????
