Eco Publishing in the US have just contacted us to with information about their newest title - The Ultimate Ball Python: Morph Maker Guide. Obviously Ball Pythons can't be (legally) kept in Australia, but they are able to provide a wealth of information on genetics and morph breeding. A lot of Australian breeders of jags have purchased The Complete Ball Python (by the same author and publisher as the new title) to formulate pairings and gain insight into what different combinations of morphs will produce.
The Ultimate Ball Python is an extremely large (2.5kg) title with nearly 800 pages and over 1200 photographs. It is an essential title for anyone who is serious about breeding morph pythons.
This title only has a very limited market in Australia. We will keep a few in stock but not the same stock levels as our other, more popular titles. However, we have an opportunity to pre-order these titles so they ship direct from the printers in China, rather than from the publisher in the USA - this is much more affordable and we are passing these savings on to our customers.
Our pricing for pre-ordered copies (they won't be shipping from China until the second half of February, with delivery to Australia approximately 2-4 weeks afterwards) is $130 including postage. We aren't able to formulate a solid price for when we have to import this title from the USA, but my estimation would be around $160 excluding post.
