Bought this in Japan the other week. Pretty crazy car - full Jun 2.2L engine, T88 Turbo, HKS Sequential Gearbox, Fibreglass bonnet, doors, gaurds, bootlid, lexan door glass etc etc.

Guy who i bought it with took it for a drive and reckons its pretty full on! and that was on the low boost setting of 22psi.

Just need to figure out what to do with it now - keep it, sell it, drive it and inevitably crash it, wreck it out.

Dont normally mess with Nissan stuff much but thought this might be worth a shot. Have had a GTR32 and GTR33 in the past but am mainly a subaru person.

Cheers,
Dave

OOOWEEE!! That Jun engine is worth a packet not to mention the gearbox. Nice find. I bet the more you look around/under it, the more and more goodies you'll find. That's what it's like with a lot of stuff from Japan. When I got my Stagea the obvious mods were an RB26DETT conversion, Trust intercooler and oil cooler, remote oil filter, and an R34GTR front end conversion. Over the next couple months found Apexi N1 coilovers behind the Rays Gram Light wheels, Nismo front pipes off the turbos to a full HKS exhaust, JIC Rear camber adjusters, and N1 turbos. So who knows what the internals could/might be.

I say keep it and have fun with it!!

Cheers,
Allan

mm thumper turbo , at 22 psi that turbo wouldnt be anywhere near its eficancy range . when i had my old t66 ,22psi was just starting to make it wake up .

yeah 22 psi would be nothing for a T88 so would be interesting to see it wound up.

a few more pics as well. Also has adjustable everything underneath suspension wise. The previous owner must have spent a packet it!

wow mad score:D t88 on a sr must have some nice lag but would be psychotic once boost hits :D see some descent dollars spent here japs take pride in there perfomance and dont go half assed about it, gotted love vented external lol pedestrians do hahahhaha

Looks like same intercooler and oil cooler I got.
Do you have a dyno sheet by any chance? A mates Gemini had an FJ20 with a T88 @ 17/20PSI was 450hp at the wheels. Had the internals built to handle 40PSI. I'm sure your JUN can handle a lot more too so why not throw it at it. Looks like the fuel systen can too:D
Love the screamer pipe!

Cheers,
Allan

allan,

no dyno sheets sorry but will probably throw it on a dyno once it arrives in the country to make sure all the AFRs are ok etc. Fuel system looks pretty full on - love the solid lines - a sign of a quality system.

Love screamer pipes as well! Cant wait to hear it in the flesh.

cant be complied unfortunately mate - s14 were sold here locally. We will need to ship it as a rolling shell and running gear seperate, unless i can convince someone with a C3 cams licence to bring it in under their licence

Dont think ill be keeping it, bought it to sell it, but that doesnt mean i wont take it around the block once or twice! haha

you could probably put a baby seat in the back stu? =)

is it able to be complianced?

I would say not a chance in hell. :D
EDIT: What Dave said.

David,
You'll have to let me know when it arrives and you take it to the track for a test run. If you think you'll crash it, I'll test drive the S@#t out of it for you:lol:.

Cheers,
Allan

you break it, you buy it! haha

Any idea on what you will be asking for it.
Have you got a spec sheet on it and any idea on the management. I'm guessing Power FC of Fcon if it come out of Japan.

Gotta love import cars you own it for a couple months and find out there's aftermaklet parts everywhere then "IF" you take it to a mechanic he then asks you about the engine work and where'd this part come from.

Just need to figure out what to do with it now - keep it, sell it, drive it and inevitably crash it, wreck it out.
Cheers,
Dave
Mate- your in a bind trying to work out what to do with it and its causing you grief...
Let me take it off your hands for you so you can relax.
