new sandie goin crazy

hi all, i just got home with my new 3 month old sand monitor. ive put him in his enclosure and he is goin crazy. i hav a log in ther just incase he wants to climb and hes all over it. hes jumping from the log to the wall and the roof, trying to jump onto the fluro tube and everything.
is this a problem? temps are fine. i just fed him aswell, just a few roaches.

lol crazy little fella.... hopefully he'll sit still for long enough soon so that you can get some pics!

lol i will be putting pics up 2moro, just so he gets a feed and gets to settle in better. he loves climbing his log though which surprised me as many say sandies dont climb much. im going to begin designing a bigger enclosure for him over the next week and will hopefully get it built by January.

Have you got a hide for him? I'm dont know much about sandy's (except that they're awesome!!), but i know with my blueys giving them plenty of hides helps them settle down until they're used to the new surroundings. Good luck with him, would love to see some pics!

Allthough you should supply them with a hide, if you have enough digging substrate in there, they make their own hides.
