I inherited my daughter's carpet python when she left our home in Brisbane.
I am not sure about giving him his first feed for spring 5 October. There's currently no heater & the carpet python is pretty active.
However, his body & eyes are looking dull, I think he's in for a shed. Normally he shed's after eating & resting.
Should I hold off his first feed after winter until he has shed? Is he likely to take a feed whilst it's got a tad cooler this week?
