Hello.
I am considering purchasing a baby Woma Python when I move out into my own place. I am a beginner and I would like to ask all the questions I can before making the jump. The first concern about owning a snake in particular that has me confused the most is feeding.
There are two main topics in particular.
1: Feeding schedule and size.
I know corn snakes have the Munson feeding plan, but I have seen very little reference for Womas. I want to guess I can judge by the thickness of the snake and say if the next size up is too big, just add to the quantity of the smaller prey. Overfeeding is something I would like to avoid.
2: F/T Prey
From what I have seen there are two sides on this. However, I saw a post somewhere that claimed Womas were not as developed as other snakes and that F/T prey may harm digestion, thus keeping it specific to the Woma. Is there any reason to think it may affect the woma?
Thank you for your advice/ thoughts.
