Hey guys. I've just gotten back from a week overseas late today. I've got a 1 year old Intergrade and it seems that his heat source shorted out a couple of days ago. It's stuffed and I'll have to get an electrician out to fix it asap. I've had my sister check on him every day and change his water etc but yesterday she noticed that his heat was not working. I'm guessing he's been without heat for 2 1/2 days. I had him out as soon as I got home and took him out into the sun for a while. He seems happy enough.

Will a few days without heat affect him much? I've read that it would be ok. I've had the heater on tonight to warm the house (I'm boiling!). Any tips on what do do until I can get his enclosures wiring fixed??

Thanks.

It won't be an issue as long as it hasn't been feed for a week or so. With the heat wave in Melbourne a lot of keepers have turned the heat off.

We went away for a few days over the New Years period and hadnt fed for over a week so turned our enclosures off. When we turned them back on, temps in the prob area were 29 degrees, so it certain;y isn't something to worry about in summer.
