Hi all,

I have been hunting around for another nice male central dragon to mate with my girls and came across a site that had some really nice ones but it states they are Northern Beardies??

I didn't even know we had northerns, just easterns and centrals (ok I probably sound really dumb now). Do these differ from the centrals? Easterns and Centrals don't look alike but these look alot like Centrals.....

Am confused, please help!

yeh i've got a book and lists like 8 different species:
easterns (Barbata)
kimberley (microlepidota)
western (minor minima)
black soil (henrylawsoni)
western dwarf (minor minor)
nullabor (nullabor)
central (vitticeps)
north-west (minor mitchelli)
so yeh alot more than i thought... i reckon it would be the north-west one, or the kimberley ones, as they are up north in the distribution maps... hope that answered your question
Cam

Thanks Cam, that does help!

They listed him as his proper name being a Pogona vitticeps so he must be a central variety....

I hope I don't get in trouble for this as I took it from their website (I guess if I buy him they won't mind) but here is a pic of him.....
