Hello,
About 4 days ago i cleaned out my olive python's enclosure. I put newspaper in her enclosure so i could put her back in while the marine carpet dried. She found a spot under the newspaper in the cool part of her cage and hasn't moved since. She only slightly pokes her head out if there is any movement around her cage.
My concern is that she has never been a shy snake and sometimes only hides if she is getting ready to shed, but, she isn't due for a shed and has no signs of shedding.

It's probably nothing to worry about, i just thought that i'd see what you guys thought.
Thanks.

She sounds like shes just stressing a little bit and needs some time to settle back in to her enclosure. She'll come good soon.

probably thinking "oh noes My Carpet! Come back Carpet!" and yeah.. what Warui said XD

i think she is just a bit stressed. maybe you shouldnt hold her for a couple of days just in case

My sister's friend somehow lured her out from under the newspaper and she returned to her usual spot and i was able to put her carpet back in.
She is now back to her normal self :)

Thanks guys.
