I'm thinking of buying a snake- but because of personal reasons cannot commit to their 20+ lifespan, so I'm looking for older snakes, preferably 10+. I am a beginner to snakes but not reptiles.
I have a glass enclosure that is approx. 1m long and 60cm wide and tall. I have the funds available to purchase hides and other equipment, although any unwanted stuff is appreciated.
As for the snake I don't mind what sex or colour, although they need a clean bill of health without any diseases/injuries. As I am a beginner I also need a snake that isn't an issue behaviorally. I can handle snapping ect but extreme defensiveness and other behaviors that a beginner would struggle with are out.
