hey everyone i need some serious help i have an 11ft olive python that i have had for some time now. she was good at the begining and never bit ,but now all she wants to do is bite and constrict me. And it doesnt feel good when she does it . i started useing leather gloves and she was fine but instead of biting my hands she got the inside of my leg, now that hurt!!! and i tested it today when i rubbed the glove on my arm then wore it ....went straight for it. also have had some close calls with her just missing my face. she is well feed on rabbits and large rats. Shes gone crazy ..hope it wont affect her breeding this year.. any ideas?????? p.s my mrs says she hopes some one can help because shes sick of blood getting on the carpet . and im sick of bleeding...
cheers

Does she feed in the enclosure, or in a click clack?
Also, Welding gloves work well i find with my biter

An 11ft olive feed in a click-clack!!!! Ha Ha
OLAY89 how long have you had her for? have you change her enclosure recently? has she ever been paired with a male before?
Olives seem to do well when you have a compatible pair, so keep a close eye on her when you place your male in with her this season coming if she doesn't calm down.
And I don't think gloves would be much help with a 11ft olive

shes not fed in the enclosure shes fed in the spare room. i have had her for around 12 months.. shes got a huge enclosure with plenty of room correct heating and she has been there since i have had her. i have takin her to a rep vet and all test were clear. they have bred before but i didnt have a chance last year because i was away with work . maybe she misses her boyfriend lol

Is she your first big snake?

er JamesJr, I feed a 4 metre scrubby and a similar sized olive in suitably sized click clacks.
