i fed my olive yesturday shes 4 months old and she ate 6 10 say old quials is this normal any help would be great thanks

Maybe try feeding a larger food size so you don't have to feed so many in one sitting. Can you attach some pictures of the lump it has left in her ? My Olive eats like a machine !

at 4 months i was feeding mine 2 sub adult rats a week. she is now about a year old and eating a medium rat every 4 -5 days. she would eat anything i put in her enclosure

Thats one content little Olive! If it will take rats maybe try her on one or two larger rats rather than 6 Quail. Or even a couple of larger Quail if she turns down rat. The lump in the stomach definetly does not need to be bigger than that, if anything, maybe try a little less.

How long do you think your olive is now? you are certainly pumping it with food :D my female is 4months old and i have her on hoppers and she is a bit over 1metre long

mine is getting close to 6 foot now and definitely loves her food. within a day and a half there is no bump left in her from a medium rat. cant wait till she is full grown

She would be a bit over a meter aswell after I feed her 1 or 2 she still searches for more so if she's hungry Ill give her more they are only 8grams each I think next time I will give her something bigger

4 Months old and only on hoppers? Mines a year and a half now, fed every 2 weeks a 3 week old rabbit

yeh im about to double the weight of the rats i feed her, i get my rats from the local uni so hoppers were all i could get
