I would like some opinions on the following photos.

The snake is a 3 year old jungle being kept at around 23 cold end - 32 hot end. As you can see, there are some grey areas around the nose. The snake is currently showing no signs of RI nor has she shown symptoms previously. These grey areas have been present for a while. There aren't really any rough surfaces in the enclosure for her to rub against which I expected it might be a result of. She is currently on coco substrate (which I use for 5 other snakes with no problems) though I'm shifting her to a click clack til the problem is resolved.

Any ideas?

In the first pic the nostril looks clogged, is that right? I would use a cotton tip soaked with warm water to clean out the nostrils and then see if the problem returns. How's your humidity? A warm, dry enclosure may mean she is inhaling dust from the substrate, which in turns clogs the nostrils. Perhaps raise the humidity and use newspaper as a substrate for a while and see how it goes. Otherwise, wait until the snake sheds and take it from there.

Could those scales have a small bit of retained shed on them for some reason?

Since it's on the nose, first thoughts are rubbing, especially as the front of her snout looks slightly worn too - front first then diagonal up/down or sideways, maybe against front glass, or a vent. Clogged nostril may not be related to the greying scales.

Thanks for the suggestions everybody. Gave her nostril a clean out with a wet cotton bud (she didn't like that much  ) and removed the substrate and replaced it with newspaper. Will post photos soon. Thankyou again.
Luke
