This year my main project is to make an outdoor pit.

It will house a pair of the following:

Eastern Water Dragons
Eastern Blue Tounges
Shinglebacks

And anything else thats cool looking and can live with them in our climate :D

My questions are mainly size related.

How big would the Enclosure have to be? I've got plenty of space.

How high would the fence need to be?

Would i have to make the pond safe for the Blueys and stumpys?

And finally is there anything that needs special attention, like laying sites and brumation?

Cheers

l would not keep Blue-Tongue's or Shinglebacks together in any enclosure, the reason why is they could end up mating together, so think carefully in what you plan on keeping together in your new outdoor enclosure just some friendly advice.

I am well aware of this, which is why there will be a divider in the middle with a gap for the pond so the EWDs have access to both ends, but if that gets to complicated I'll just have a pair of shinglebacks inside.

The whole thing will be about 5m x 3m.

Does anyone know whether Eastern Water Skinks can live with Eastern Blue Tongues and Eastern Water Dragons?

I've attached a word doc with the design.

Which design do you guys like best? the Pond design or the River design.

Each design separates the Blueys from the Stumpys in some way.

Would it be ok to keep an Eastern Long Neck in the river design?
