I recently acquired a little pet rabbit, as it's owner was unable to keep her and was going to break her neck  Sooo, me being me said I'd take it without consideration for my MD Ruby. My question is if Ruby were to smell the rabbit, would it lead her to strike at me/think she can smell dinner or should she be alright? She's only ever been fed mice at this stage.

as with any rodents you should wash the smell off of your self b4 going and handling your snake.

if it has the taste for rabbits then maybe it would bite you if it smelt the rabbit but if it doesnt eat them then i would say you will be okay

I had pet rats and a snake.....the solution is easy, keep the two in separate rooms and wash your hands before and after you handle each animal and never take them into the same room together. I had no problems.

reminds me of my mate who had pet rats didnt tell me when i asked if he had handled rodents recently and got himself tagged by my bhp
