Pair (m,f) ridge tail monitors (varanus acanthurus)
Think they are WA locality but cannot confirm this.
These two are super pretty, male has amazing contrast in colour.
Approx 4-5 years old
Male handles very nicely and has won first and second place at the last two Sydney Royal Easter show reptile competition.
Female is a lot more skittish and doesn't handle as well.
Pair has successfully bred before.
The male gets along well with this female but is violet with other ackies so is best kept with his partner or separate. Matings with other females should be monitored for over aggression (he can be very rough).
