I manage to find these guys every now and then and from what I can gather, its a Parasuta spectabilis spectabilis. If i'm wrong, please correct me as I have no clue when it comes to these small elapids - it measured approx. 20-25cms total length.

Found in the Barossa Valley, SA, this one was exceptional - beautiful vibrant colouration and well behaved. The photos don't do it any justice.

Heres the photos. Would love to know what you all think.
 
Just don't get bitten, friend of mine rated this as more painful the brown
 
Used to be suta spectabalis, but was changed 3 years ago after DNA work
