Sooooo stoked. Found this guy in my front yard this evening. My folks have had em around their pond before, but for me to get one where I am is tops! Took some pics & left him to his calling (which sounds like Predator). Hope he sticks around. If not, glad he dropped in anyway. Sorry, pic 2 is dodgy.

Yeah, I like their subtle colouring (although that can vary wildly). Happy to say he's still in my front yard, despite living on a 4 lane main arterial road in suburban Sydney. Never used to really get many in the area, but in recent years they're turning up with increasing regularity. Hopefully due to increasing numbers, not from being displaced from other areas due to habitat loss.
