Please be careful if considering purchasing from REPTILEXPRESS (aka slider). He is selling average pythons for above average prices. He is using pictures of high class animals and claiming them to be the parents of his snakes. He also claims that one of the parents was an albino (hahahahahahahahaha). Do not trust this person, he is a liar attempting to take advantage of those who don't know any better. Unfortunately this warning comes too late for some.

Guys, be wary of Blackflys. He sells unlicensed, wild caught animals. He has been reported to Petlink numerous times and yet they still allow him to advertise. You really have to question the ethics of Petlink. Many people have lost their license and all of their reptiles simply for dealing and trusting this person. Petlink really need to take good look at themselves. No wonder this site is laughed upon by those of the herp community. Shame on you Petlink and Blackflys. Blackfys, watch your back mate, karma is coming to get you!

I cannot for the life of me see why there are so many dishonest people in the herp/herp accessory trade/hobby. From what I can see, Slider is willing to give David his money back. I wonder if he expects David to pay for the animal to be sent back to him before he gives him his money back like someone I've been burnt by. It takes one thing to admit you have made a mistake, but a real man will rectify his mistakes. Any opinions???

I have spoken to the people at NPWS on several occassiosn to try to get confirmation of the legality of actually advertising herps in either pet shops or web sites. They accepted that sites like this one and herp trader were effectively online herp clubs and our lioceces allow us to advertise through herp clubs. They were unsure as tio the legality of petlink as it is a site for all pets, not just reptiles. They were totally non-committal on the pet shop thing. Probably acknowledging that it is illegal yet they turn a blind eye.

Of course, this is only relevant to NSW people however, I bnot that slider is in Sydney.

I can also guarantee you that they are always monitoring these sites and the sellers involved. They are always able to name the user names of these people off the top of their head when I speak to them.
