photo upload probs

I haven't been here for ages but thought I'd drop in & update some pics. Who's smart idea was it to change how the uploads work???? I can't do a damn thing now. Can't upload new pics of an enclosure, keep getting told it's pending but nothing else. Can anyone help ease my growing frustration??? And to the smart bod who changed things.... ever heard the term "If it aint broke, DON"T fix it"???? Seriously......:x

I'm guessing it's a PEBKAC error. (problem exists between keyboard and chair)

Did you forget to take your morning concrete Kak ? You've come back after being away soooooo long and expect everything to be the same as you left it AND stamp your feet cos someone chose to change something !

Maybe a little patience would help instead of " can't do it .... Fix it"

Can someone guide this poor lost soul in her quest, I'm on via my phone and it's too much like hard work flicking between screens

A teaspoon keeps the irrits away ( usually but as you are showing, there are always exceptions). I just don't know why people can't leave well enough alone when something works. If it doesn't then fair enough but APS was so user friendly before. So I will stomp my feet ( I was taught by the gnome so I have to) so if you can't help me out ... well, I'm sure you can guess the rest.

I've enjoyed getting sidetracked.

My knights in shining armour often turn out to be losers in tin foil.... how much did you use anyway??? 2 rolls?? 3????

I don't use tin foil, things tend to go mouldy when left wrapped for too long, I don't wait for knights of any sort. I'm the DIY guru, I can do it myself........

I can feel this thread getting closed real quick if we don't spin this around.....

Where are you trying to upload photos to, a post? If so Go Advanced > Scroll down to Attachments and click Manage Attachments > Add files in top right hand corner, then click done in bottom corner.

Surely SOMEONE here knows how to upload pics to an album! This is insane, I ask for assistance & all I get is sarcy remarks (pokes tongue out at Jax .....) Pleeease, someone.... HEEEEEEEEEELP, this is driving me nuts!!!!!!!!

why am i such a sucker for a cry for help even if it is from someone like you..... hang on that might be me being sarcy.... or not

so......... you have done as Khagan has suggested and now you have your 'selected' picture/pictures on the top right hand side of the screen, "waiting" to go somewhere.....
you can see lots of existing photos below that ??

so go to the top LEFT hand side of the screen, under where it says 'pending' type in a description of the photo (keeping my mouth firmly closed)
under that select the album that you want the pics to be in,

and then right BELOW THAT it says "SAVE CHANGES"

then with the speed of light and with all the great magic of technology it APPEARS IN YOUR ALBUM.......

If i havent seen a reponse in an hour I will assume it worked for you, and that you ARE suffering from PEBKAC and you're off screaming like a seagull in the corner of your little box ! !

Can't do it atm, I'm on the wrong computer, (the pic I want to upload is on the lappy) but I'll give it a shot later. Sorry I can't drop everything right away & do it to keep you happy but I have a life that needs me atm..... I'll let you keep the box warm till my return. Oh, & yes you were sarcy but then I don't expect anything else from you as sarcasm IS the lowest form of wit. Touche!
PS... I did upload like that last night but it didn't work for me as I said MANY TIMES.... >slaps forehead in despair<... tag 8)

Crisis over! Thanks for the overwhelming response to my plea for help ( yes, I'm being sarcy). It turns out I was doing everything right, the lappy just didn't want to play the game.
