Hello everyone long time no see,

i built this cage with my dad few days ago, all up cost us near 100 bucks (which is ok) it is a bit bigger than 1500mm length and 1200mm width. I used a strong mesh and some treated wood for the frame.
I put my beardies in it and my turtles, annoying thing is the beardies keep climbing up it and the turtles too !

Will they get use to it?, they have all this room and they still try to get out :(
Feel free to post a comment or some advice.

Regards, Myles

Looks good - just make sure the beardies dont try rubbing their noses on the mesh...that can get horrendous.

My beardies have done it a bit, my female got a little bit of a scratch. she had a tiny bit of blood, i put some papaw and it helped.
How can it get horrendous Adandiluvsmyreptiles ?

Thanks for the comments people, feel free to post people who havent already.

It can get horrendous when they continue to do it - can cause serious injury.

Yeah certainly can, my gippsland water dragons I recently got must have come from a outside enclosure with wire. The entire fronts of there mouth and nose is back to raw flesh and bone. Looks horrid. I now keep them in a glass enclosure but it's taking forever to get there noses fixed

Nice enclosure, I'm going to be building an outdoor enclosure soon for my eatsern's and bluey's.

Does it have a base? If not just be careful that the beardies don't try to dig out, My pair live outside permanently in a mesh viv.

cheers
