General Description I have a three year old Piggie wtih a 2.4 metre long set up (not an aquarium but a pond). The pond also comes with filter, heaters (800 watts worth), fluro light and stands to put the light on, gravel (there's about 60kg worth) and even a 9 inch long Barramundi!!! Plus logs and fake plants in the water. This pond will last him at least another 5 years and probably longer. A total of about 1500 litres of water. But you need to heat it so think about that. You will need a trailer to transport the pond. Best kept inside but remember it will increase the humidity of any room it is in - not bad if you have chondros but real bad if you have levis or other desert animals.
Now break down teh costs of this stuff:
Cheapest baby flipper turtle: $500 (and this one is 3 yeears old and already in Sydney)
New Tank $540
Barramundi $40
Filter $180
Fluro Light $50 (fitting Only)
Gravel $100
Heaters $100
Pictures to come but flipper turtles all look the same
Location Narellan, Sydney South West
Willing to Freight? yeah - for another $1,000 in NSW or $2,000 to SA, Qld or Vic. You would be crazy though!!
