i was just wandering if there is anywhere on the east coast of australia where you can get a hands on experience with lions or tigers?

You could climb the fence at Taronga !
Sorry I really dont know, bullens animal world used to have lions freeroaming and they would climb on your car! sadly it closed years ago. I reckon there would be just phenomenaly high insurance cost associated with what your talking about, I doubt anyone would do it as a tourist attraction.
You might get some volunteer work/experience at a zoo, but again, not likely with lions n tigers imo.

you can do a walk with lions/tigers at dreamworld and at aussie zoo. i think it is like $600 for like 30 mins and if they think its getting dangerous or whatever they can cancel the walk.

Why, did you find one. I think it might be mine. Large female Sumatran tiger last seen heading towards SE Queensland with my missing woma on its back. Would be greatful for the return of either. Will pay freight to Sydney.

Canberra zoo does something like that. Maybe try the website or give them a call. My mate keeps telling me to come down to there and do the tour with him, but i can get the time to get down there.
