It may be a yearling, but looks like a hatchie because it took a while to start eating before he could sell it. So he could be telling the truth.

Looks like a yearling i have some yearling carpets that size, just hasnt been pumped full of food.

i'll go with what fay said, or it may have just been fed smaller meals a little less frequently which has caused slower growth, here is a pic of one of my yearling jungles, i know its not the same species but just to show that feeding can really effect the growth. Since upping the feeds he has started to grow like a weed.

It's been said but I'll just add that my 15 month old Bredli is about that size because he didn't eat for three or four months when I tried getting him onto rats.
Nice fingernails by the way Woody ;)

It may off been a slow starter to eat,why wouldnt he trust the age that the breeder said..

I bought a yearling hatchie from a breeder and mine was around the same size as yours... The breeder told me that he was small due to the fact that he had so many reptiles he only fed them every 2-3 weeks. After a few good sized feeds my little guy got back on track with his growing and was a normal size in no time.... Sometimes this can be the case...

Hey Saximus.. I have a Bredli who's around the same age who hasn't eaten for about the same amount of time... How did you get ur bredli to start eating again???

i agree with Fay. my spotted male is very small due to not eating much. and he is 18 months now

My MD Shaggy is a yearling and about that size. Eats like a horse, just long and skinny!

My hatchies are bigger then that... but yeah could be a late feeder. (strange for an MD)
