Problems filling out a record book for Queensland

I'm currently filling out a record book (printed from the QLD site) for a Children's Python. License and permit number, I'm unsure if it means mine or the sellers. No. In/out, I'm guessing that's how many you've either received or sold? Progress total, I'd say that's how many of the species you have?

Are any of those correct?

For "balance taken forward to form number NC_____ is ____" what does that mean?

Sellers details. Yours are on the front page of your book.
in/out your running tally of what animals you have.
balance forward is if you fill a page with a species and need to start a new page for that species.

i thought progress total was a running tally, not Number in/out. Would number in/out be how many you aquired or disposed of?

Sorry you are right. I could have worded that better. Number in is number onto your books and number out is those off which gives the progress total. Acquiring can include number bred, purchased etc and and out deaths, sales, escapees etc.
