hey guys im gunna get a pair of reddies soon just wondering what problems might occure with the keeping of these guys, more looking for first hand exp. alot of what i have read says these guys are sweet as to keep.

know all the stuff about the bitie end and have done my first aid cert and current so im confident with the housing and keeping of an elapid.

anything on reddies let me know.

They do smell, but generally are awesum captives. Just remember that red bellies have a reputation for being placid, which is true. However even a placid indicidual can be highly unpredictable and you must never get complacent. Thats pretty much it!!! if you get a good quality snake, they are problem free.

yeah ive heard of people who get complacent and end up getting tag from it, it would be hard to do i think. but than ive never owned a dangerously venoimous snake so cant really say.
thanks
