Hay Guys, I've had my lil' pygmy dragons now for about 6 weeks and they seem to doing really well. But they get runny poos, or alot of wet around them but no stool there 8 weeks old and feed well on crickets, bok choy and carrots all dusted with supplement powder, a water bolw around the clock, I clean them out daily and wash everything weekly or as needed. Should i be worried?

Hi there! Sounds like youre taking real good care of the little guys. We've got 2 who are now 2 years old, so I'll just tell you what we've learned:

Crickets are pretty much just water, theres not much to them, even if gutloaded. Carrot is good and so is bokchoy, but try get some frozen cubes of beardie food from the pet shop or chop up cubes of beef heart into small 1/4s for a bit of protein. They might be a bit small for Superworms but if youre not squeemish, get some live ones and cut them down to size.

Our little guys Adore frozen peas for some reason (just defrost them for a bit first). Ours are also into Dragon Kibble lol well thats what we call it. Its an ExoTerra brand, theyre tiny kibble sorta things that you put a bit of water onto to soften them up, theyve already got all the calcium and protein supliments in them and our guys eat them dry.. all you can hear across the room is NOMCRUNCHCRUNCHNOMNOMNOM

Good luck :D

thanks heaps, any other ideas?
is the watery poo normal??
