Well I have a red eyed GTF and he's very small, only about 10cms long I'd say. He spends most of his time stuck to the side of the tank (inside and outside; his tank doesn't have a lid. He never leaves. He'll go to the outside and sometimes crawl around the desk but is always back in the tank ater a few hours) and doesn't really do much. I spray the tank once every two days and when I spray he jumps around a little bit and gets active but then just goes back to the side and sticks there, not moving with his eyes open. He doesn't eat much, only 2-3 crickets a week and very rarely goes into the water.
I guess my questions are; Is this his full size? Is it normal for them to be so unactive, maybe he's starting that hibernation/estivation thing? Is this amount of food alright for him?
He's still a very nice bright green and I've shown photos to a friend and he says he looks very healthy, he's not skinny or anything either. But I worry. Should I perhaps get him a friend?
