if continuely bitten is it a good idea to wear gloves why - why not

is it a good idea to just cop the bites no matter how many or how long he holds on

No it's not a good idea to wear gloves, but it's a brilliant idea to use a snake hook and not get bitten!!

just get bitten it will soon find out that it cant hert you and soon it will stop.
just handle it as much as possible.

Gloves are fine, childrens won't get through them, and some snakes will bite regardless.
But a snake hook is good the snake will likely be less stressed.

My childrens is an absolute little wild thing when he's in his enclosure so I use a hook to grab him out depending on what mood he is in, which is usually "feed me now mood" but if I can see that he's being reasonably calm I just grab him out with my hand

Gloves can damage a snakes jaw so use a snake hook.

Depending on age of the snake you may be able to calm it down but if it's an older snake you may have to live with it being snappy
