yes, you just use a mild mange dog shampoo, it will clear it up.

You can get cheap sprays from most pet shops, but hey have been known to kill rats, Ivermec is what i use for all that stuff, jsut best not to feed for a few weeks after

i need em small rats anyway not hoppers, just opened their eyes. where do i get ivermec from? i put my male down yesterday because it was eating into his neck his fur was covering it.

Revolution is good actually, you only need one drop but could kill the babies, your prolly better of with the shampoo. I would just clean the cage and disinfect, you could wash the babies when they are a bit older, not this young though.

We have used advocate with no real side affects. it was recommended by a vet just not recommended for rats till about 4 weeks old but works great

I know in England they did trials with the red fox and mange.....as they are not a pest there and people love em, they trialed leaving out marmite sandwiches.....I think it could be the vitamin b...not sure but I read it worked...

Revolutiotn will cost $20-$30, and you will have to get a 1ml syringe to make up the doses, Ivermectin costs a far bit (like $80) but you get enough to treat a herd of cattle

Yeah kittens would be the best and cheapest, just make sure you get Revolution and not any other brand, the active ingredient has to be Selamectin on its own

The dosage is 0.1ml per Kg with Ivermectin, im pretty sure its similar with Revolution, plenty of info about it on the net.
Just putting "a drop" on the neck I wouldn't advise incase you under dose and the parasites build up an immunity to it

It should to some extent, if it doesnt work then just treat them once they are weaned (4 weeks old)

Sorry I thought by dose you meant internal, lol. The vet told me 1 drop for an adult rat and you can use cat, kitten, small dog or puppy as they all only have 60mg of the active constituent.
