Ok, so the "Barefoot Bushman", Rob Bredl says not to get worried about it, but our nearly 4 yr old MD Python "Boof", has not had a feed since 3rd of December(and I do keep records of course). No mites that I can see? He is just being a snake, cruises around now and again as they do this time of year! Do I need to worry that a Python this old is off his ratties at the moment??? As usual, all comments and suggestions gratefully received. Just a tad worried as I should be cooling him down by the end of April? Thanks all!, Cheers Cheryl PS. Must say that we got him from a great Breeder in Mildura, Vic, way back, and it took at least 6mths to get him to have a feed eh?x

I wouldnt worry snakes can go a long time without eating some of mine are the same won't eat for months and then make up for lost time.Is he fat and healthy.

just keep offering him something now and then, he'll eat when he's ready

l always have 2 or 3 that wont eat for a while , up to 7 months in one case , then they just start again . l'm sure they just do it to annoy me .

We have had the same problem with a few of our snakes - our roughies inlcuded .
You do get a bit worried - but some of ours have gone up to 6 months without a feed and and have never lost condition and eventually eat when they are ready.
At first we used to stress about it - but now have come to accept it.....
